Scenes On Screen (for Teens & Pre-Teens) with Casting Director Peter Rasmussen
Give your young performer a dynamic, confidence-building on-camera acting experience designed to strengthen technique and produce footage suitable for agents, showreels, or simply to celebrate their growth.
Created by studio founder and Casting Director Peter Rasmussen, this two-day workshop blends skill development with practical screen performance, delivered in a welcoming, supportive environment that helps young actors thrive.
Day 1 - Technique, Confidence & Camera Skills
Students explore engaging, practical acting exercises that build screen presence, imagination, and emotional truth. Through improvisation, movement, voice and character work, they learn the foundations of believable performance and prepare for their on-camera scene.
Day 2 - Scene Work on Camera with Peter Rasmussen
On the second day, students work directly with Peter Rasmussen to rehearse and film a short scene. Peter will guide each student through professional direction, camera awareness, truthful acting choices and partner work.
Every student receives their filmed scene after the workshop - ideal for agent submissions, showreels, auditions, or personal development.

Chermside. Free parking on site for a smooth dropoff.
Dates/Times:
Teens Group - 12th & 13th January 9.30am - 3.30pm.
Pre-Teens Group - January 19th & 20th 9.30am - 3.30pm.
Suitability/Age Groups:
Pre-Teens: 10-13
Teens: 14-17.
All experience levels welcome.

About Peter:
Peter Rasmussen is one of Australia’s most respected acting coaches, known for his clear, practical teaching style and his ability to guide actors toward truthful, dynamic and emotionally grounded performances. With over 25 years of industry experience, Peter brings a wealth of knowledge from both his extensive coaching career and his ongoing work inside the casting room, giving actors rare insight into what genuinely works on camera..
Across his career, Peter has taught at leading institutions including Queensland University of Technology’s Fine Arts Program, Griffith Film School, Queensland Conservatorium’s Performing Arts Program, The Howard Fine School and the Melbourne Acting Academy.
Many of his students have gone on to book major roles in Australian and international film, television and theatre - a testament to his ability to unlock an actor’s potential and prepare them for real industry success.
