Maggie's Grandmother/Mother

Please recreate the action of this scene.

SCENE 61 - EXT. GRASSY KNOLL - DAY

(IN THE STYLE OF THE OPENING OF LONGLEGS — 4:3 ASPECT RATIO)

Distant Native American whisper-chanting echoes.

MAGGIE, as a small girl, twirls beneath a lone tree on a grassy knoll.

Her grandmother, a wise Native American woman, stands nearby, smiling warmly.

The image shifts: the grandmother blesses Maggie, her hands moving gently over the child’s head, whispering a prayer carried by the wind.

Suddenly, the grandmother’s face grows worried—like she sees something approaching.

How to shoot the audition:

Shoot in a midshot and landscape (horizontal).

You can have Maggie run to you and stand next to the camera.

When you whisper the 'prayer', please make up something and speak in English. It doesn’t need to be audible.

Do the prayer for while.

In the middle of the prayer look up and see an evil spirit standing behind her. Don’t be scrared, just look at it as if you are trying to work out what’s next.

Give me Two different versions of this.

Also include a ID/Slate (Name Agent, height and location and availability over the shoot dates) – Body

Shot – Chat to camera – tell us about your favourite Halloween character or baddy from a story or TV show.
