About Tyler:

American born and raised Tyler Coppin has trained well over a thousand actors in the General American Accent in his renowned group and masterclasses, his on-set accent & acting coaching for international film and television productions, and in private sessions. Past clients include Joel Edgerton, Colette Mann, Zima Anderson, Rufus Sewell, Bella Heathcote, Phoenix Raei, Ben Mendelsohn, and a young Heath Ledger.

In addition to his coaching, Tyler is a multi award-winning actor and NIDA graduate. For decades he has performed in main stage professional theatre and commercial musicals across Australia and internationally, as well as in film and television. Film performances include Winchester, Predestination, and Mad Max 2. Musicals: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (as The Child Catcher), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Helpmann Award), and Strictly Ballroom. Tyler won the Edinburgh Fringe First Award for his self-written solo show LyreBird (Sydney Opera House, USA, City of London Festival).

Tyler was recently American accent & acting coach for the US series La Brea (NBCUniversal) throughout pre-production, on-set and post. During a career that has spanned a couple of generations he has coached for American ad campaigns, theatre and film/tv productions which include Where the Wild Things Are, Torn, Dark City, Race the Sun and Peter Benchley's The Beast.
